Senior Installation Technician and Client Support

In short:

We are a small growing AV service company specializing in AV systems for churches. 

We count it a privilege to serve these churches, are excited to be growing, and need senior installation technicians to lead installation teams and oversee projects.

Roles include:

Involvement with AV system installations:

  • involvement throughout the installation process

  • cable pull, equipment installation, termination, programming, and commissioning

 

Other duties as required:

  • client training as part of system handoff, development of other team members

  • we are a small business, expect to chip in as needed

 

Qualifications:

Understand the needs of the churches we serve and their unique dynamics 

  • involvement in a local church is an asset

 

Audio-visual system experience:

  • 5+ years professional experience with live sound, video displays, broadcast systems, stage lighting required

  • industry certifications and programming platforms (Q-SYS, Dante, etc) required

  • live event production experience an asset (we are not an event production company)

  • AVIXA CTS-I certification is an asset

 

General construction experience:

  • construction experience and project management experience required

  • ability to read AV and architectural drawings required 

  • troubleshoot problems, able to find solutions independently while leading a team

 

General Computer literacy:

  • competent with Microsoft Office, Google Apps required,  Visio and D-tools experience an asset

  • networking skills an asset
